The Caren is a square-toed mary jane with a square neckline, inspired by a vintage Carel model from the 60s. This model is based on a flared heel that brings comfort, stability and style.

This season, Carel is determined to put out to sea and pay homage to our beaches and oceans… without  even straying too far away from your hometown ! For this Summer Collection 2022, our urban shoe models are sinking into a sea of sand-beige patent leather and laminated leather with an aquatic shimmer. 

The perfect collection to accompany you on your strolls along the seafront and in the most beautiful seaside resorts.

Handmade in our spanish workshops, this model is also available in different colors, as you can see above.

We advise you to take a size less. (If you are a 37 FR / EU, a 36 will suit you).

Our patent leather shoes are already waterproof treated. Patent leather is a material that requires regular maintenance : 

- Place raw wooden shoe trees, ideally made of beech wood in your shoes to absorb moisture.

- Keep them away from dust and any source of heat, storaged in a furniture or a shoe box.

- Clean, moisturize and polish them once or twice a month (! leather cream is forbidden !).

The Carel advice

Do not expose them to heat sources such as hair dryers or radiators; the leather may crack.

How to measure your size ?

Our tip:

When wearing a sock, place your foot against a wall on a sheet of paper long enough to keep your foot from sticking out.
Be sure to keep your heel firmly against the wall and your foot flat.
Make a small mark in front of your longest toe.
And finally measure the distance between the end of your sheet to the mark.
If the length is between two sizes, round up to the biggest one.
