A bag, an icon
Inspired by Paris's rich heritage, our designers have paid tribute to our capital with a declaration of love : a collection of emblematic bags that opens a new page in the history of Carel brand. From one place to another: Sorbonne, Madeleine, Concorde, from one bridge to another : Alma, Bercy, in brief, from one riverbank to another, cross the Seine with an eponymous bag on each arm.
Raya Martigny, model and actress, presents Carel's latest bag collection, by taking us on a journey through Paris's iconic landmarks seen from a different angle. "Le pays des chimères est, en ce monde, le seul digne d'être habité" (Rousseau). This quote expresses the fact that anyone can have Parisian history on their arm.
The common point between Raya and Carel is for us a perfect evidence. A woman committed to inclusion who shares our values. The past meets the present, as Raya is now the face of Thierry Mugler, a former partner of Carel in the 70s.
