Take your usual FR size. For thin feet, consider to take a half size smaller.

Care instructions

Before enjoying your Carel shoes, remember to remove the plastic film that protects the outsole.

Patent leather is a durable and easy-care material.

You can clean it with a cotton cloth. After this step, you can apply a small amount of neutral natural oil to a clean cloth to moisturise the patent leather. 

Working in small circles, massage the oil into the leather and spread over the entire shoe. Allow to dry and keep out of dust in a shoe bag or box.

Patent leather is a rainproof material, but we recommend that you place a ball of newspaper inside the shoe to help maintain the original shape of the shoe. This will absorb moisture and preserve the life of your shoes.

We advice to do this once or twice a year.

Carel's advice

Do not expose your shoes to heat sources such as hairdryers or radiators as this can cause the leather to crack.

How to measure your size ?

Our tip:

While wearing a sock, place your foot against a wall on a sheet of paper long enough to keep your foot from sticking out.
Be sure to keep your heel firmly against the wall and your foot flat.
Make a small mark in front of your longest toe.
Finally, measure the distance between the end of your sheet and the mark you made.
If the length is between two sizes, round up to the biggest one.
