Banana is inspired by our Alice Mary Jane design. This slingback version has a signature 6cm bevelled heel and embodies elegance and audacity. Handcrafted in our workshops in Italy,  its open heel and adjustable straps make it a must-have shoe for every season.

This style is available in limited edition and is part of our Carel Cares line of shoes and leather goods.

Take your usual FR size, if you are a 37 FR a 37 will suit you.

Care advice

Before putting your Carel's shoes to use, don't forget to remove the plastic film that protects your outsole.

Leather requires special care to preserve its durability, so we recommend alternating waxing and polishing with a nourishing cream. After 3 or 4 consecutive waxes, use the cream next time.

You can clean them with a cotton cloth or a soft bristle brush. After cleaning, apply a small amount of a slightly lighter cream on a clean cloth. To revive the colour, use a darker shade. Massage the leather in small circles and apply to the entire shoe. Leave to dry naturally. Brush the leather again to obtain a shiny effect.

Carel’s advice

Store away in shoe bag or box. Do not expose them to heat sources such as hair dryers or radiators; the leather may crack.

How to measure your size ?

Our tip:

While wearing a sock, place your foot against a wall on a sheet of paper long enough to keep your foot from sticking out.
Be sure to keep your heel firmly against the wall and your foot flat.
Make a small mark in front of your longest toe.
Finally, measure the distance between the end of your sheet and the mark you made.
If the length is between two sizes, round up to the biggest one.
